Meet Shawna — The Heart of Tortuga Girl

Shawna built Tortuga Girl Creations out of pure passion for creating, caring, and connecting. After 15 years as a retina nurse, she developed an unshakable appreciation for family — especially her elderly veteran patients, who reminded her every day that service and heart go hand in hand.

That same passion drives her designs today. Whether it’s a custom hat, embroidered jacket, or branded apparel line, Shawna draws inspiration from the things she loves most — moose, horses, saltwater fish, and turtles. Each piece reflects strength, authenticity, and natural beauty — made to be worn with pride and built to last.

Danio Farnese His job is to keep the wheels turning behind the scenes. He’s the one troubleshooting, researching, and optimizing every system so that Shawna’s creative vision runs flawlessly. When he’s not helping customers create standout custom designs, he’s climbing a tower, flying, fishing, and backing the veterans and first responders who keep our community safe.

His philosophy is simple: support your neighbors, honor your heroes, and build a legacy.
